Gentle Birth Companions to be translated into French!

Calling all Francophone doulas! I am so delighted to announce that French publishers Souffle d'Or have agreed to publish Gentle Birth Companions in translation, due out in May!

About Me

I am a writer, doula, mother and former midwife.

I am also course leader at Mindful Doulas & trainee counsellor at the Scottish Institute of Human Relations.

My vision is that birthing women and couples have access to sensitive, appropriate support throughout labour, so that their babies can be born in a gentle 'undisturbed' way.

I endeavour to support expectant mothers and fathers in following their right birth journey, and to raise awareness about the far-reaching implications of secure attachment.

I strive to prepare doulas with integrity, who trust in the inherent ability and instincts of women to give birth safely.

Other interests: human rights, visual and performance arts.
